Introduction
- The fined-tuned medium of instruction (MOI) arrangements for secondary schools was implemented from 2010/11. To tie in with this development, the Education Bureau (EDB) offered the REES to schools in 2010. Either those EES schools or non-EES schools could apply for the REES to further enhance their English language education in the context of the diversified MOI arrangements.
- CEELT was then commissioned by 2 secondary schools to provide professional consultancy on their school-based REES projects (both for a period of 2 years). In addition, CEELT was also engaged in some other schools’ REES projects but in a smaller scale.
